Kari Sam Wuhrer was born April 28, 1968 is an American singer and actress. Wuhrer began her career as she was in her teens. She is most known for her character Maggie Beckett on the TV show Sliders, as well as as the character of Sheriff Samantha Parker, in the horror comedy film Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer was born in Brookfield Connecticut as her mother was Karin Noble, who worked as a cashier, as well as German American Andrew Wuhrer. There are three siblings. She started singing at nightclubs as a teenager and was known to sneak away from her house to sing. The actress studied acting since the age of 13 at the Wooster School. She then pursued the art of drama at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, Marymount Manhattan College, Columbia University, and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts alongside renowned teacher Uta Hagen.Kari Samantha Wuhrer was an American actor, model and singer.
