Lucy Liu (born Lucy Liu) is an American voice actor Director Producer and vocalist. She's attractive and skilled actress that has inspired numerous Asian actors to succeed in Hollywood. The actress gained notoriety after numerous popular characters in shows. The most notable was her role in the Ally McBeal series, where she portrayed Ling Woo the villainous character. The actress translated her sudden recognition into roles on big screens in movies like Shanghai Noon and Charlie's Angels. The film Kill Bill Volume 1, Quentin Tarantino, she gave an impressive performance as Japanese criminal O-Ren Ishii. Around the same time she appeared in major characters in other box-office flops which included Rise: Blood Hunter. Later, she was able to start voicing the characters of animated films like Kung Fu Panda or Tinker Bell. Mia Mason, in Cashmere Mafia and other small-screen characters didn't achieve popularity. Southland's critically acclaimed series on police, Southland and a recurring character helped Liu to regain her status acting career. Liu chooses her roles carefully to ensure she is not stereotyped within the field that is competitive. Even though she's proud her heritage, she does not let that limit her creativity.
